Sri. BS.Alagu educated very much from Bangalore having Diploma in Automobile, M.A (Journalism),

Our mentor has been recognized as a businessman and social worker for the past 40 years. He has served as the organizing President of the Karnataka Journalists' Welfare Association, Bangalore, All India Treasurer for Indian Humanitarian Organization (IHO), General Secretary Karnataka professional Journalists' Association, Bangalore , Secretary Karnataka Environment Protection Forum Bangalore ,.
He has been involved in print media for over 20 years and has participated in many state government programs, researching and providing numerous benefits to both the state Central-Government and the public. He was instrumental in implementing Sections 4(1)(a) and 4(1)(b) of the Right to Information Act, 2005, in the Muzrai, Stamps and Registration department , Transport, and Commercial Tax Departments, among others.
Our mentor has made significant progress in the fight for a plastic-free Bengaluru, protest against, illegal/Violated buildings in the BBMP area and the illegal recruitment of teachers in Bengaluru. His team has also organized eye check-ups and surgeries for senior citizens of Bengaluru. Mr. B.S. Alagu has received numerous awards and honors from several prestigious institutions in the state, including the Journalists' Association, Government Departments,
Achivements
Our mentor, from past twenty years who has been in the print media with vast experiences in the field have successfully led Bruhathnadu from front with his articles published on various topics including politics, stamps & Registration department, Muzrai department ,RTO Revenue and central Government issues which carried the mementom.
Our mentor has given Recommendation to change the rules for Muzrai act, RTI act, stamp and state Registration act through Bruhathnadu.
Also Worked on temple lands issues identified more than three lakhs acres of land with survey numbers taluk and village in Karnataka
And also gathered the relevant information’s with documents regarding missing of temple lands which was brought State and central government's attention and then Prime Minister Late Dr. Manmohan Singh office directed the Karnataka Government Chief Secretary, which led to the formation of the Sri Balasubrahmanyam Committee to protect Muzrai temple lands. Our mentor’s efforts have been instrumental in saving hundreds of acres of temple land.
*Leakages of temple resources (money) was found with proof than the commissioner for Muzrai Sri.B.G.Nandakumar IAS accepted our recommendations with our proposal for amendment of the Muzrai Act was brought and approved by the both the house of Karnataka council & assembly which saved serval lakhs of rupees from the temple funds, ensuring the safety within the temple's.
*Towards the issues of our public interest highlighted the lack of facilities for Sabarimala pilgrims, especially for devotees from Karnataka were betrayed without lodging . Bruhathnadu worked for the project and reactivated with commissioner Sri.Venugopal I.A.S. for Travancore Board Kerala, Our timely efforts and with the cooperation of the then Muzrai Commissioner for Karnataka, Shri B.G. Nandakumar,IAS. The Kerala Government had donated five-acre land near Neelakal was allotted for a shelter for pilgrims, and a Bhoomi Puja was conducted at this site the Government of Karnataka had sanctioned Rs.Five crore for the construction .
*Our mentor was instrumental in developing the properties of the Muzrai Department in various important locations such as Karnataka Chatram in Varanasi, Mantralaya, Srisailam in A.P , Pandarapura Maharashtra and Calcutta,worked on safeguarding related documents of the concerned Maharajas properties after independence which was rested with concern Governments. .
*One of his proudest achievements was publishing an article in Bruhathnadu regarding the salary scale of Muzrai temple servants /employees, bringing the issue to the attention of the government, and ensuring that their salaries were fixed.
*Bruhathnadu also played a vital role in ensuring that health insurance coverage was extended to the employees of the Karnataka government and to the priests of the state's Muzrai temples in Karnataka .
Stamps and Registration Department:
*Our mentor has done research and made articles contributing to the promotion of officers and employees. His advocacy for maintaining records under the Right to Information Act has made the department more efficient.
*Bruhathnadu covered the most implementation with articles was made for cauvery-2 2023 and 2024 in the State of Karnatakawas published in the interest of Public and project which reached other States of India which made proud movement of the department of Stamps and registration
*Losses in Stamps and registration department with unclear rules /norms with public problems were brought before the commissioner and IGR in turn in our findings were considered
Bruhathnadu also addressed the issue of sub registrar offices which were unfit to the office and public and without their own buildings were published which gave a remarkable change was noticed in the department of Stamps and registration department and also helped on securing vacant plots / land for these offices,with significant contribution to the department was made .
Other Notable Contributions:
*Bruhathnadu was behind the successful increase in the Bangalore’s BBMP's annual revenue from 560 crore to 2500 cores in 2002 by highlighting revenue collection after the research was made bringing them to the attention of the then BBMP Commissioner and senior officials.
*He contributed to nation through the researching and submitting a report on counterfeit currency to the central government in 2015-16 , based on data obtained from the country's currency printing institutions . This report played a role in the government's decision to demonetize high-denomination notes, a move aimed at curbing economic losses due to counterfeit currency.
*Bruhathnadu work was also extended to the protection of migrant workers from Karnataka working in Goa. He organized a major conference in Vasco and worked to bring the issues of these workers to the attention of former Prime Minister Shri H.D. Deve Gowda and then Minister Shri H.D. Kumaraswamy.
*In addition, his research on irregularities in ESI hospitals led to reports being submitted to the central and state governments, resulting in corrective actions being taken by the ACB leading to the regularization of many issues in the hospitals.
*Our mentor also participated in the campaign to clean the Vedavati River in Chitradurga district
*Many articles on political issues in Karnataka were made in the interest of the State and central , playing a key role in government awareness and action.
Through Bruhathnadu, Mr. Alagu mentor have ensured that public interest is protected, and government rules are not violated by government employees.
*On January 16, 2025, Bruhathnadu will take a significant step in reaching a larger audience through the digital media platform with continuing its mission to bring the happenings of the state and nation with preference in all he required fields
